McIndoe on the Actim march

Bristol City midfielder Michael McIndoe climbed into the top 10 in The Actim Index, the official player ratings system of the Coca-Cola Championship, as the Robins continue their promotion push.

McIndoe earned 21 points in the 2-1 defeat of Hull to climb three places into 10th overall, closely followed by Brazilian team-mate Adriano Basso in 11th after his 18-point haul ensured he remains the top-ranked goalkeeper so far this season.

It was a good week for striker Dele Adebola, who scored an impressive 41 points against the Tigers, moving him up a healthy 50 places into 164th spot. It was Adebola`s best individual match score of the season. Jamie McCombe chipped in with an impressive 39, also his season`s best.

Eight of Gary Johnson`s in-form side are in the current top 100.

Analysis of all Championship games is taking place throughout the season and so far the top five Bristol City players are:

Player, Ranking,Position Ranking,Index Score

Michael McIndoe, 10th, 5th Ranked Midfielder, 460 points

Adriano Basso, 11th, Top Ranked Goalkeeper, 458

Marvin Elliott, 14th, 7th Ranked Midfielder, 448

Lee Johnson, 24th, 9th Ranked Midfielder, 417

Bradley Orr, 29th, 10th Ranked Midfielder, 401

The Actim Index is calculated using a unique mathematical formula that rates each player`s contribution be it goals, shots, passes, dribbles, tackles, crosses, saves, clearances, blocks, interceptions, assists, clean sheets, time on the pitch or number of points gained by the team with marks deducted for red and yellow cards.
