Good work from Gavin Williams and Dele Adebola sees a McIndoes first time shot deflected for a corner. Mc Alister has a shot as the ball braks from the corner and Rachubka struggles to deal with it. At the other end Keith Southern shoots straight at Basso.

Basso saves well from Keith Southern. Blackpool have had the better of the game but City have had four shots on target to their three. Blackpools win their first corner and Basso is caught in nomans land but McCombe is fouled.

Nicky Maynard is put clear by Dele Adebola and fires in a shot which is well saved by Rachubka. A hammill cross just drifts beyond the head of Burgess and out of play. McCombe did enough to put him off.

Chris Weale replaces Adriano Basso in goal for the second half. Nicky Maynard shoots but the referee has already blown for a free kick to Bristol City in a decent position 25 yards out central to the goal. McIndoes shot is tipped over by Paul Rachubka. The corner comes to nothing as Louis Carey shoots over. 1,521 City fans in attendance. Hammill shoots just wide and a cross-cum-shot goes wide from Gavin Williams with McCombe appealing for a penalty.

Weale makes a decent save as the home side create the early pressure in the second half. A diving header from Ian Evatt goes just wide.

Ivan Sproule comes on for Gavin Williams on the right. Cole Skuse is lucky to avoid a second booking. A cross from MCindoe is fklicked on by Adebola challenging the keeper and Nicky Maynard misses the target from six yards out. He should have scored. He then has a shot deflected over.
Chris Weale handles outside of his area and escapes with a booking. The free kick comes to nothing.

Gareth Taylor-Fletcher is replaced by David Vaughan and he nearly runs through on goal within seconds of coming on. Steve Brooker replaces Dele Adebola up front for City.
Sags 3-1 down at home, a promising start for them.
Sproule Maynard and Brooker combine well but Rachubka saves comfortably again. Then at the other end Weale makes a stunning save from Keith Southern at point blank range with Skuse clearing off the line and then Burgess shooting the rebound wide.

Chris Weale saves excellently again from Hammill as Blackpool break at pace, both sides are pushing for a late winner. AND IT'S CITY THAT GET IT AS STEVE BROOKER TURNS SHOOTS AND SCORES FROM THE LEFT HAND SIDE OF THE PENALTY AREA DRILLING IT INTO THE TOP OF THE NET. A minute to hang on. Blackpool pushing hard for the equaliser.But after nearly four painful minutes of injury time City nick the win. Or did they steve the win. Fantastic outcome.
