Sam Weale came 10th and was the leading Briton in yesterday's mens pentathlon final, but brother Chris was forced to miss watching the action unfold. The schedule was as follows

Team GB Athletes Competing : Sam Weale, Nick Woodbridge

Chris Weale is keen to keep his first team place having deputised for Adriano Basso since half time in the opening day of the season at Blackpool. He felt he would put that at risk if he missed training and the schedule (above) was such that he had to miss the majority of his brother's very creditable peformance. I'm sure someone recorded it for him, and Chris seems likely to continue in goal at Coventry tomorrow.

Must have been a pretty competitive sporting family growing up in the Weale household
