Jamie McAllister gets Scotland call

Jamie McAllister gets Scotland call

Jamie McAllister has been recalled into the Scotland squad and will hope to line up against Norway next weekend. He has played just one game for Scotland and will be looking to make the left back spot his own in the future.

Jamie joined Bristol City for free from Hearts in the summer of 2006 having previously had long spells at Queen of the South, Aberdeen and Livingston. He has been virtually ever present for Bristol City playing 78 games in just over two years.

Scotland manager George Burley managed McAllister at Hearts and played him in a central midfield role but is aware f his prgress and told Sky Sprts news, "He has settled int the left back birth very well and is very prfessional."
