Stern Seriously Signs for City

Bristol City have clinched the loan signing of Southampton forward Stern John until January 1st 2008. The striker goes straight into the squad to face Barnsley.

I am not sure why? I am sure all will be explained on bcfc.co.uk. I can only assume that it is with a view to a permanent signing in the January transfer window. Gary Johnson has many 'clubs in the bag' I struggle to see why he has the need for yet another driver up front when other areas could be strengthened.

A welcome addition nonetheless.

I think he will be a good loan for you.......

Cracking loan deal, exactly the sort of play (QPR) should be signing, take note Briatore!

He is a decent player, Hopefully both player and club can benefit from this.

Is there an option to buy? I think you might want to hold on to him.
