14 mins; GOAL Another mix up in Citys defence sees Kevin Doyle score confidently.

15 mins: GOAL Same again only this time Noel Hunt scores.

17 mins: Elliott shoots but hits McIndoe in the back.

18 mins: A crude challenge from Maynard sees hin rightly booked.

19 mins: A Reading player is booked for pulling down Maynard.

22 mins: Basso claims a dangerous Doyle cross with Hunt poised for a tap in.

33 mins: A tame Reading shot from the edge of the box is comfortably saved by Basso.

80 mins: City force a coyple of corners. Bradley Orr shoots wide.

79 mins: Another unpronouncable comes on for James Harper.

80 mins: Bradley Orrs shot is saved.

The East End will console themselves that they sang loud and proud all game.

93 mins: Stern John gets a deserved reward for his efforts with a neat finish off the underside of the bar.

It has to be said this was a thoroughly entertaining game despite the result.

It does not help when they are gifted three goals though. This game was end to end. Equal chances. Unequal finishing.
