SCOTT STRUGGLE TO FACE GLOVERS

Bristol City's in form wingman Scott Murray is battling to regain fitness in time to face Yeovil Town in Saturday's eagerly awaited clash at Ashton Gate.

The popular Scot damaged his knee in last week's defeat at Rotherham United and seems unlikely to recover in time, which will be a great disappointment to City supporters as well as to Scott himself, who has several family members travelling south for the game.

The likely replacement, should Murray fail to recover, would be Luke Wilkshire who has given a couple of impressive displays as substitute recently.

However City manager Gary Johnson experimented with Bas Savage on the wing and Mark McCammon up front in yesterday's
2-2 reserve draw with Bournemouth. Both players were withdrawn after 45 minutes, so had Gary decided that the formation was not working or was he saving the players for Saturday ? Only time will tell.

Meanwhile ex-City defender Kevin Amankwaah is winning his own fitness fight to regain his place in Yeovil's team for Ashton Gate, but the Glover's skipper Terry Skiverton is likely to miss out.
