Hartley to say goodbye to Celtic on good terms

Bristol City`s main midfield target Paul Hartley says that he is leaving Celtic on good terms.

The 32 year old is expected to sign for City early next week having been made surplus to requirements in Scotland.

Speaking to BBC radio Scotland, Hartley said: 'All good things come to and end.'

'I had a terrific spell there. I won every trophy that there was to play for. All good things come to an end.

'Just being there for two-and-a-half years was a special time for me, to live the dream as they say. When you're growing up and you support a team, you always dream of playing for them.

'I'll always keep my eye open for the results at Celtic and come back to watch the games when I can.'

Even though he is 32, I still feel he has something to offer

Make no mistake, you have secured a great competitor when you secure Paul Hartley. Paul has been immense with Celtic. All players have bad games, Paul had less than most, even playing far out of position much of the time. One thing is certain, he could still be doing a job in Paradise and don't be too surprised to see him back there in a coaching capacity later. I hope he brings you the success you crave. He is a great celt and will always be fondly remembered by all fans.
