Stern John finds new club

Stern John has found himself a new club after signing a one-year contract with Crystal Palace.

The 32-year-old striker, who has had spells at Nottingham Forest, Birmingham, Coventry, Derby, Sunderland and Bristol City, agreed terms after leaving Southampton earlier this week.

'I'm delighted to have signed for Crystal Palace,' John told the Trinidad and Tobago Football Federation's official website, ttffonline.com.

'It's a new challenge for me and one that I'm definitely looking forward to.'
