ROBINS ACCEPT McINDOE BID

Bristol City have accepted an offer for out-of-favour winger Michael McIndoe from an unamed club, thought to be Coventry.

The Scot is now discussing personal terms with the club in question, after seeing an earlier move to Sheffield United break down over the summer.

Manager Gary Johnson told bcfc.co.uk: 'We can't say too much but we have had a bid from a club and it has been accepted.

'Nothing's done yet but Michael is talking terms with them.'

McIndoe has fallen out of favour with Johnson after a string of public outbursts and spats with team mates.

Should the winger complete his move, he is expected to be the first of three players heading out of the door.

Striker Lee Trundle wants first-team football after an inconsistant two-years, but is struggling to attract interest at the moment.

Keeper Adriano Basso also wants out but the club have yet to receive any bids either.

Johnson, speaking on the transfer situation, said: 'We should have a goalkeeper in by Monday or Tuesday.

'We've now found one that we didn't think would become available.

'I'm still looking for a target-man, as I've said before, but there's nothing imminent at this time.'

Meanwhile, Kenny Cooper has left Dallas for German side 1860 Munich putting an end to rumours linking him with a move to the South-West.
