McINDOE JOINS COVENTRY

Bristol City winger Michael McIndoe has joined fellow Championship outfit Coventry for an undisclosed fee.

The 29-year-old left winger ends a two-year association with the Robins and has signed a two-year deal at the Ricoh Arena after successfully passing a medical.

The Scot had been out-of-favour at Ashton Gate, following a series of public spats with the manager and his team-mates.

McIndoe agreed terms with Sheffield United last month only to see the bid collapse at the eleventh hour due to the Blades lack of funds.

The Sky Blues will be McIndoe's ninth club and no doubt City fans will be waiting with baited breath for the outspoken winger to air his dirty laundry in public.

Is he likely to do that though...hardly something Coleman will permit?

I don't know about Coleman's style of management but it's something McIndoe has done at most of his previous clubs, including having a pop at McCarthy when leaving Wolves for us. He's a disruptive influence and given he's left us after Johnson became fed up with his antics, I'd put money on him having a snipe at us given half a chance.
