TRUNDLE PUTS HIMSELF IN THE SHOP WINDOW

Bristol City striker Lee Trundle issued a 'come and get me plea` when he revealed today that no offers had come in for his services.

Although there has been no offers yet, Trundle has stated that he would prefer to stay in the Championship after he was linked with a move to Swindon Town yesterday.

Trundle has been told that he can leave City if a suitable offer comes his way after he was told he is now surplus to requirements at Ashton Gate.

Swindon Town manager Danny Wilson is interested in taking Trundle to the County Ground but he would most likely be interested in a loan deal, and although Trundle would prefer the Championship, he would not rule out a move to Swindon.

'I would like to stay in the Championship and continue to play at that level, but you can only judge moves on what is presented to you and nothing has been put in front of me yet, so I can't rule anything out until I speak to people,' Trundle told Sky Sports..

'I've not heard anything yet and the same goes for my agent, so at the moment they are just links in the paper and nothing concrete. We'll just sit and wait to see what comes around.'

I can't help but think that Trundle isn't the answer for Swindon.
