Artus Returns To Cheltenham

Artus Returns To Cheltenham

Young Bristol City midfielder Frankie Artus has signed for Cheltenham Town on an initial one-month loan.

Artus spent three highly successful months at Whaddon Road towards the end of last season in a spell that nearly saw Cheltenham preserve their League One status.

He bagged three goals in nine games from midfield during that stint in Gloucestershire and will be hoping manager Martin Allen brings the best out of him again.

Frankie penned a new one-year deal at Ashton Gate in the summer but has not featured so far this year, with Elliott, Hartley, Johnson, Williams and Skuse ahead of him in the central midfield pecking order.
