Hartley Gunning For Savage

Hartley Gunning For Savage

Bristol City midfielder Paul Hartley is looking forward to pitting his wits against Robbie Savage at Pride Park tomorrow.

Hartley, 32, has yet to face the antagonistic Taff in over 400 career appearances and is expecting a tough battle in the middle of the park.

Speaking to the Bristol Evening Post ahead of the clash, Hartley said: "I haven't played against Robbie before.

'He is a known competitor and it will be a tough battle.

"It is the sort of battle you relish; coming up against good players and pitting your wits against them."

The midfield battle could hold the key to game, with Derby going into the game on the back of four straight defeats and City three straight draws.

Keep an eye out for our in-depth match preview later on in the day.
