Hollow-Head Rages, Johnson Looks Ahead

Ian Hollow-head has revealed he kept his Blackpool players locked in their dressing room after their 2-0 loss to Bristol City last night.

Kingswood-born Skeletor took a pounding on and off the pitch as his side crashed to their first defeat in five.

Speaking to the Sporting Life, the dim-witted yokel said: "I don't rant (really?), but I didn't like what I saw out there tonight.

"There were players whinging at one another and showing a lack of respect, which I won't tolerate.

"We didn't close down City's back players quickly enough, and allowed them to do as they liked for 40 minutes."

Given the weasel-faced bumpkin's history of whinging when things go against him, we find that hard to believe!

The dressing room lock-in was probably more designed to allow the City fans to get bored of waiting to lynch him and disperse into the night rather than iron out any flaws his side might have shown.

Meanwhile, across the tunnel in the victorious dressing room, City boss Gary Johnson had an eye on Newcastle at the weekend.

"It was a really important match for us tonight," he told bcfc.co.uk.

"We knew if we won it, we would go to Newcastle hot on the heels of the top six, and if we lost, we might have been looking over our shoulders.

"It's a huge game for us on Saturday, and one the players can now look forward to."

Nearly 3,000 of the Cider Army will start descending on Newcastle from tomorrow onwards, whilst hundreds of others are in the home end.
