Cole Skuse has been voted as Bristol City's Player of the Month for October by fans who visit the Vital Bristol City website.
In the week of voting, we asked our fans to vote for the best Robins player over the past month and Skuse narrowly held off Nicky Maynard to take the gong, picking up 42% of the vote.
Maynard came a close second with an impressive 40%. Lewin Nyatanga came third on 9% and Dean Gerken fourth with 9%.
Skuse has been in superb form for City so far this season and has carried that form on performing to a high level in unfamiliar positions to plug the gaps left by injuries to first-team regulars over the last month.
Bristol-born Skuse has really kicked on this year in the wake of stiff competition from established players like Paul Hartley, Marvin Elliott, Evander Sno and Lee Johnson for his preferred central midfield spot.
But his natural athleticism and versality has made him one of the first names on the teamsheet having featured as a right-wing back, right-back and centre-half in October.
He also notched a superb solo effort in the 1-1 draw with Peterborough early in October.
Congratulations to Cole and thanks to everyone that voted.
