Johnson Joins Derby!

Lee Johnson has finally left Ashton Gate after joining Derby on a month's loan.

Johnson goes straight into the Rams' squad for thier FA Cup tie with Millwall tomorrow, with his City career seemingly over.

Boss Gary Johnson told bcfc.co.uk: 'At the present time we felt it was a good idea for Lee to go out on loan and get some games under his belt.

'We had four or five clubs enquire about Lee, but it was Derby that he opted to join. It's Championship football and it's a good loan deal for him.'

The boss' son has been a great servant for us lower down the league's but has come in for flak from certain sections of our support after controversially being selected ahead of better central midfielders at the club.

Thanks for his service and we wish him well at Pride Park.
