Iwelumo To Join?

City are rumoured to have gone in for Wolves target man Chris Iwelumo on loan today.

Manager Gary Johnson is good friends with Wolves boss Mick McCarthy and sources in the West Midlands seem to think this is a done deal.

However, with Johnson recently adding Patrick Agyemang on loan from QPR to the other deadwood in attack like Saborio, it remains to be seen whether Chairman Steve Lansdown would sanction yet another deal for a striker.

The 31-year-old journeyman has found himself out of favour at Molineux this season, making only 2 Premiership starts.

If the signing does come off, it certainly points to Johnson looking to play more route one stuff to get us out of trouble.
