Williams Farmed Out To Yeovil

Out-of-favour City midfielder Gavin Williams has joined Yeovil on a month's loan.

Williams, 29, has struggled for regular first-team football following his move from Ipswich two years ago.

City gaffer Gary Johnson told bcfc.co.uk: "With Marvin Elliott and Evander Sno due to be back from injury shortly, we needed to look at a way of getting Gavin regular games.

"After the month there is the chance to extend it with us having a 24-hour recall, so it's a good deal for all parties."

Williams is revered by Yeovil fans after spending two-and-a-half successful season's at Huish Park six year's ago.

Speaking on the loan move, Williams said: "It's good to be back at Yeovil and get some games. Obviously I know the gaffer and Dazza (Darren Way) from before and Scott Murray from the City days."

The Welsh midfielder has spent the majority of this season collecting splinters in his arse having only started 4 times for the City.
