Millen Would Love To Stay On As Boss
City caretaker boss Keith Millen has finally confirmed that he would like to be the man in charge for next season at Ashton Gate.
And he gave his credentials a major boost by overseeing a 1-0 victory over Welsh outfit Swansea on Saturday making it a total of 14 points he has picked up from a possible 18.
Since Millen took charge of managerial affairs at the club, he has steered the side to four wins and two draws, which is fine form by anyone`s standards.
Nicky Maynard grabbed the all important winner and after the game Millen said he would love to stay on after the end of the season.
'I'm aware that the chairman has been speaking to other people, but it would be a disappointment now if I wasn't involved as either manager or coach,' Millen said.
'We had a very positive talk last week about the management structure without any names being mentioned. I'm just delighted to be involved in the discussions and was able to give my opinions.
'We do need some experience and how we achieve that is down to the chairman. I believe I could do the manager's job, but whatever he decides, I will hopefully be part of it.'
