Vote For Your Player Of The Year

The polls are now open for you to vote who should be named as City's Player of the Season for the 2009/10 season.

In a turbulent year that has seen more players through the door than shoppers visit Cabot Circus, only a handful have made the final shortlist for the gong.

Paul Hartley arrived and wooed everyone with his quality on the ball and tenacity in the midfield.

Cole Skuse continued to fulfil his vast potential with an all-action season where he manned several positions and chipped in with a few goals.

Whilst Nicky Maynard has scored some unbelievable strikes in his 18 goals at the time of writing.

You can vote on our final poll of the season further down the page or through the more official channel on the Supporters Club Website where the votes will really matter.

You can vote by texting, e.g. CITYPOY99 (to vote for squad number 99 as Player of the Year) or CITYYPOY99 (to vote for that squad number as Young Player of the Year0 to the usual Man of the Match number, i.e. 60060.

Texts cost 50p plus your normal SMS rate and all profits go to the Atyeo statue fund. Closing date: April 30th. Winners announced at the End of Year Awards do on May 7th.

Who gets your votes?

Tough one this. Maynard's been unbelieveable but not consistently throughout the season, Skuse has been a jack of all trades and excelled in the middle whilst Hartley's been the class act when picked. Think Skuse just shades it for me...
