Trundle Hoping To Join Swansea

Trundle Hoping To Join Swansea

Striker Lee Trundle hopes he can return to Swansea City to finish off his career after being released by Bristol City.

The 33 year old was released by the Robins last month after he failed to do much to impress during his three year stay with the club.

Last season Trundle was out on loan at Swansea and saw them just miss out on a play-off place (which was funny).

'I'm still waiting to hear back from Swansea and I'm set to meet with them for talks this weekend, so hopefully I will be able to get something done with them." Trundle told Sky Sports.

'If not, then I will have to take a little look around and see what is out there for me.

'I've said before that Swansea is a club that I'd like to be at and it is a place where I'd like to finish my career, but things happen in football that change things.

'I will wait to see what Swansea say and take it from there.'
