Cisse Set To Sign?

Reading midfielder Kalifa Cisse could be set to link up with former manager Steve Coppell at City, according to newspaper speculation today.

City are believed to have had a bid in the region of 500,000 accepted by the Royals, with the 26-year-old holding midfielder set to discuss personal terms and undergo a medical at Ashton Gate over the next few days.

Coppell brought the Mali international to England in 1m move from Portuguese team Boavista in 2007 but he has failed to cement a place in the Reading midfield.

Cisse scored a tremendous long-range strike in Reading's 4-1 win at Ashton Gate two seasons ago.
