Orr Leaves For Loftus Road

Bristol City defender Bradley Orr has signed for Championship rivals Queens Park Rangers.

The 27-year-old right-back joins the Loftus Road outfit on a four-year deal with only a year to run on his current City contract for a fee in the region of £650,000.

Orr told qpr.co.uk: "It's a great relief to be here, because I've wanted this move ever since I became aware of QPR's interest some time ago.

"It was an easy decision to make and I've got a great feeling about QPR and the ambition that is here to achieve things.

"My number one aim is to achieve my lifetime ambition of playing Premier League football and I genuinely believe I can do that here.

"The whole place is geared up for success. The Manager, the players, the staff - it's a Club on the up as far as I'm concerned."

The scouser joined City from Newcastle in the summer of 2004 and made almost 250 appearances.

I'm not sure if this is a good move for Orr as I can see QPR struggling this season

He's over-rated in my opinion as well. Good servant to BCFC though
