'If It's Football, It's Vital'

City Land Young Irish Midfielders

Bristol City have completed the double signing of Irish midfielders Patrick Hoban and Jimmy Keohane.

Considered to be hot prospects for the future in Ireland, the 19-year-old's come to Ashton Gate from Mervue and Wessex United respectively on twelve-month contracts.

"They are exciting prospects who are just happy to be playing football. They have been a breath of fresh air since they arrived at the club," said new boss Keith Millen.

"We have got to work on their fitness a bit but it is great to have them finally signed up and on board.

"Both of them will join in with the first-team squad, they are both too old for the academy."

Both players were recommended to previous boss Steve Coppell by the same scout who discovered Shane Long and Kevin Doyle.
