Evander Sno suffers heart attack

Former City midfielder Evander Sno has suffered a heart attack after collapsing on the pitch in the middle of a reserve game for Ajax on Monday evening.

Sno - who spent the whole of last season on loan at Ashton Gate - is reported to have fell to the ground in the 63rd minute of Ajax's reserve game with Vitesse Arnhem, with the score at 2-2.

Medical staff spent 10 minutes reviving the 23-year-old on the pitch before being rushed to hospital, where he is now described as being in a stable condition.

From all City fans, we wish Evander a full and speedy recovery.

Makes you wonder, 23 years old, fit as a fiddle and this happens. Makes you wonder what chance us cider swilling, pastie munching old gits have got. Hope the lad makes a full recovery.
