Williams Has Foot Op

Bristol City midfielder Gavin Williams has had surgery to resolve a problem with his foot.

The 30-year-old has only just returned from a loan spell at Yeovil and is now expected to be out of action for three weeks.

"It was a minor operation and nothing too serious. It was just something that Gavin needed fixing," boss Keith Millen told bcfc.co.uk.

Williams will hope to regain full fitness in time to earn another loan move before the end of January.
