City Say Goodbye To Vokes and Williams

City Say Goodbye To Vokes and Williams

Wolves striker Sam Vokes has completed his loan spell at Ashton Gate and returned to Molineux.

The Wales international has been unlucky with injuries in his time with City, tearing his hamstring on the opening day of the season against Millwall and suffering a series of further setbacks ever since.

Also leaving the club is left-back Tom Williams, whose contract expired at the end of last month and becomes a free agent. He recently spent time on loan at Colchester United in League One.

Boss Keith Millen said: "We wish Tom luck in his future career and hopefully Sam will overcome his hamstring problem soon.

"I'll keep an eye on his progress back at Wolves. He's had such rough luck during his time here and I wish him well with his recovery."
