Rogers: 'Swansea were terrific'

Brendan Rogers was clearly happy with his Swansea side after they beat Bristol City last night, going as far as to describe them as brilliant.

City were again out of sorts and the scoreline must have come as no surprise to anyone who was in the ground.

A goal in each half from Darren Pratley was enough to win this one with City again drawing a blank once again.

Rogers said: 'On and off the ball we showed what we are about.
'It was right up there with our best displays of the season and I thought it was a wonderful performance.

'We managed to keep our best players on transfer deadline day and that was more important than making a lot of signings.

'I have tremendous faith in the current group of players and there was some terrific individual displays in the game tonight.

'It's not often the away side are applauded off by the home supporters. But that said it all about the way we played and we can draw huge confidence from the game.'
