Eriksson: Leicester were lucky

Leicester manager Sven-Goran Eriksson admitted his side were a little lucky to take all three points in the game with Bristol City on Friday night.

The Robins had the home side on the ropes for long periods in the second half, but succumbed to a Martyn Waghorn goal deep into stoppage time.

"It was a great finish with a little bit of luck," Eriksson said.

"It was a difficult game. We started well but then it became a battle and they were very physically strong.

"We knew they were strong at set-plays. We talked about that before the game but they still scored from a corner. The win was very important. We lost grip of the game and you could feel the goal coming when they scored.

"We have a confident team but we have to play better at Cardiff on Tuesday if we want a result. We can listen to the results come in on Saturday now and we have put a bit of pressure on the teams around us."
