Millen Eyes Winning Streak

Bristol City boss Keith Millen liked what he saw at Watford in midweek and that has lead to him asking his players to produce the same again on Saturday against Scunthorpe United at Ashton Gate.

City went on a three game winning run back in November, that is the only time this season they have produced back to back wins and it`s because of such inconsistency that the Robins are so close to the drop zone.

But Millen is hoping that the 3-1 victory at Vicarage Crescent will lift the players as they look for another three points in front of a home crowd.

'Back-to-back wins at this stage of the season can make a massive difference to our position and that is the challenge that faces us,' said the boss.

'Beating Watford has given everyone a lift and eased some of the pressure the players have been feeling. Now we have an opportunity to put real distance between ourselves and the bottom three.

'But just because we've had a good win at Watford doesn't mean we're getting carried away. We have been consistent only in our inconsistency this season. I've said all along that Saturday's game is another massive one for us and we have to focus properly on playing well against a Scunthorpe side that will be fighting for their lives.'
