Norwich Late Show Robs Robins Of A Point.

Bristol City should have known that Norwich have a nasty habit of scoring goals late on in games this season, well if they did, there was little they could do about it as two very late goals for the home side grabbed the points.

The Robins looked like they had got back into the game at 1-1 and were willing to sit back on that, happy to go home with a point, but Norwich not only stole the points at the death, they rubbed Bristol City`s noses in it in injury time.

The win lifted Norwich into second place while City remain in mid table.

Norwich got off to a flying start when Liam Fontaine upended Wesley Hoolahan in the box and Grant Holt smashed the ball into the top corner giving James no chance.

By the time Bristol City equalised in the second half, they could have been well behind, but for all their dominance on the ball, Norwich could not add to their first half effort.

And it looked like they were going to pay for wasting chances when Adomah leveled the score after being put through by Campbell-Ryce`s through ball.

Norwich wasted more chances after that, and just when it looked like City had held off the home side for a point, the home side took the lead again on 89 minutes.

Hoolahan lifted the ball through to Lansbury who never looked to be in complete control of the ball as he went head to head with James, but he flicked the ball up and skillfully volleyed it past the ex-England keeper to send the home fans wild with delight.

And just to cap things off, a mistake by Caulker let in Surman who charged at goal from an angle and fired the ball through James` legs for 3-1.
