Spence signs for another month
West Ham youngster Jordan Spence will be with Bristol City for at least another month after the defender extended his loan spell with the club earlier today.
Spence joined the Robins for an initial month and he was due to go back to West Ham anytime now, but Keith Millen asked to keep the player longer because of injuries.
City have been granted another month but they could extend that until the end of the season when the current deal runs out.
However, Avram Grant has asked for a 24-hour call-back clause inserted into the deal should he require first-team cover at the back.
