Millen ends Goodwillie pursuit

City manager Keith Millen has ended his interest in signing David Goodwillie from SPL side Dundee United.

Millen was spotted at Tannadice several times last season, but was believed to be tracking Dundee midfielder Prince Buaben as he looks to strengthen central midfield over the close season.

But Millen has quashed speculation linking him with a move for the Terrors top scorer, insisting that his priorites lie in other positions.

"I did have a couple of trips to Scotland and David Goodwillie was one of the players I watched," the City boss told the Bristol Evening Post.

"I am looking to strengthen in certain positions, but I won't be taking that one on any further."
