Caulker Strikes Swans Deal

Swansea City have confirmed that a deal has been done to take Steven Caulker to the Liberty Stadium for a season long loan next term.

The move was expected for the young man who impressed so much at Ashton Gate last season and early hoes were that he may have been allowed to return.

But Premier League football is the next step up for the 19 year old and Swansea were interested and able to offer him that.

Caulker, who stands 6ft 2in, will add competition for the centre-back spots along with Garry Monk, Ashley Williams and Alan Tate.
