Millen Points Out The Problems

Bristol City are in trouble and it doesn`t take a genius to work out what is wrong, new players are desperately needed that have a bit of quality about them.

Even Keith Millen knows this but he cannot do much about it unless he offloads some of the more, shall we say, less skillful players that are at the club.

Sunday`s one sided 3-1 defeat at Cardiff just highlighted the problems that City have at the moment and although the season is only two games old, you get the feeling that we will be seeing the name Bristol City a lot at the bottom end of the table as the campaign progresses.

The boss told the Bristol Evening Post: 'We need help and we need to bring in new players sooner rather than later.

'We all know which positions need strengthening. We have known for a long time and nothing has changed. But my hands are tied, because I have been unable to get players out during the summer.

'Everyone knows the players I would like to move on, but they are still here and, until the situation changes, I'm going to have to go with what I've got. We know what we need and the fact we cannot do anything about it at the moment is frustrating.

'I'd love to bring in a couple of new faces, but it does not look as though that is going to happen at the moment and I'm going to have to get on with it.'
