McGivern Joins Robins

Manchester City defender Ryan McGivern has joined Bristol City on a season long deal after his loan at Crystal Palace came to an end.

Eagles boss Dougie Freedman wanted to keep the 21-year-old Northern Ireland full-back after an impressive month-long spell at Selhurst Park.

But Robins boss Keith Millen has instead landed McGivern on a season-long deal, subject to a medical and Football League clearance.
