City Defender Joins Stockport
Bristol City defender Joe Edwards has agreed to join Conference side Stockport County on a month-long emergency loan deal subject to Football League and Conference approval.
The 20-year-old joins Dietmar Hamann's side and goes straight into the squad that faces York City on Saturday.
Robins manager Keith Millen told the club's official website: 'We've got a lot of competition for places in that position and Joe has been unlucky not to be more involved in the first team.
'He's been working very hard in training and this loan move will give him the chance to play regular matches and keep improving.'
