Ribeiro Goes Off To Carlisle Utd.

Bristol City defender Christian Ribeiro has joined Carlisle United on loan until January 2.

The 21-year-old came through the ranks of City`s academy, he has appeared in the first team 14 times. He is also no stranger to the loan system having had spells at Colchester United and Stockport County.

Ribero will use the loan period to show new manager Derek McInnes that he is still worth putting in his match squads.

Carlisle boss Greg Abbott told the club's official website: 'We know all about Christian and we think he'll be a good one for us.

'He wants to show that he's ready to go, he's hungry, and we think he'll fit in with how we like to do things. We're looking forward to working with him.'
