City Confirm Wigley's Departure

Bristol City have confirmed that Steve Wigley has now left the club by mutual consent.

Wigley took the option to leave the club after Derek McInnes was appointed as the new manager, he had been with the club since August 2010 as Keith Millen`s assistant before taking charge of two games as caretaker manager after Millen had left the club.

Chairman Colin Sexstone told the Robins' official website: 'Steve was very much part of Keith Millen's backroom team and feels now the time is right to move on.

'We thank him for his contribution to the football club and wish him well for the future.'
