Double Trouble For City Ahead Of Millwall Clash

Double Trouble For City Ahead Of Millwall Clash

Bristol City have a couple of fresh problems with the squad after receiving the news that Ryan Taylor and Nicky Hunt will be out of action until January.

The unlucky pair both picked up an injury each during the Gloucestershire Senior Challenge Cup victory over Mangotsfield United on Tuesday night.

A broken metatarsal will keep Taylor out of action for around seven weeks, Hunt suffered knee cartilage damage.

Manager Derek McInnes told the club`s official website: 'Obviously we're disappointed to lose the two lads.

'It's strange because Ryan says he's suffered a metatarsal injury on his other foot before, and Nicky likewise on his other knee.

'The two lads are disappointed because they wanted the opportunity to show they are worthy of a place in the first team and now they are set for up to two months out on the sidelines.'
