City Take All Three Points From Southampton Test

Midfielder Albert Adomah was on target once again as Bristol City sent Southampton home with their tails between their legs, winning 2-0 against the league leaders.

Adomah opened the scoring just three minutes into the second half, firing home a deflected effort that flew over Kelvin Davis, it was Adomah`s eighth goal of the season.

Then with six minutes left, Nicky Maynard made sure the visitors suffered their third defeat of the season when another deflected effort gave Davis no chance.

City are now five games unbeaten and have moved onto 19 points, but still sit in the relegation zone….. For now.
