City Will Make Me A Better Player - Foster.

City Will Make Me A Better Player - Foster.

New Bristol City signing Richard Foster is sure that his migration from Scotland to the English Championship with Bristol City can only be good for him.

The versatile 26 year old signed for City last week on a two and a half year deal from Aberdeen.

Now he is looking forward to getting started with his new club.

Speaking to BBC Radio Bristol Foster said: 'It was hard leaving Aberdeen but it was a move I definitely had to make.

'You always want to better yourself and a step up from the SPL is definitely the Championship.

'In the SPL you tend to know the guy you're up against and they know what you're going to try and do - a lot of the games are just a stalemate.

'Down here is a new challenge for me - there's a lot of good teams and players. I'll find it difficult but I'm sure I can cope.'

Mixed reviews for foster. Let's judge him after he has had a few games under his belt. His pace will be interesting to see. If he is used as a wing back, I think a I read one review questioning his distribution I.e crossing. I'm sure del knows what he is doing.
