City Outplayed by Peterborough

Goals by Lee Tomlin and David Ball sent Bristol City crashing to yet another defeat, this time it was at the hands of Peterborough at London Road with the Robins going down 3-0.

With Sir Alex Ferguson in the ground supporting his son Darren, the home side completely dominated the first half

omlin put Boro on their way after just seven minutes when he headed the ball into an empty net after the original effort from George Boyd was stopped on the line.

The home side could have been further in front by the time the half time whistle had blown when Zakuani hit the crossbar with a header.

City were a little better in the second half, but they could not prevent Ball scoring an excellent solo goal to make it 2-0.

Tomlin then put the game well out of City`s reach when he tapped home his second and Peterborough`s third.
