Jewell More Than Happy With Win Over City

Paul Jewell was happy with the moderately easy win over Bristol City at Portman Road on Saturday.

The home side had far more of the chances and had they have finished better, who knows what the score could have been?

Goals from Michael Chopra, who hit his sixth in six, Tommy Smith and Andy Drury made sure of the points.

Jewell said:
"My only concern at half-time was that they were still in the game. We should have put them to bed and we had to rely on Alex to make a really good save to keep it 1-0.

"We had 17 crosses and 14 attempts on goal in the first half and I thought some of our play and closing down was great.

"We went out there in the second half and didn`t play as well as we did in the first, but we scored two more goals."
