'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Improved Away Form The Key To Survival.

City boss Derek McInnes wants to see much improved displays from his side when they play away from home as they try to clear the relegation zone.

The Robins sit just three points above the drop zone and had it not been for the sides below City being so poor, there is no doubt there would be a fight going on to get out of the bottom three.

McInnes sees away form as the key to getting out of the mess they are in, he says they must improve on the six losses on the bounce away from Ashton Gate.
And in those six games, they have not even scored!

He told the club's official website: 'It's easy to play well at Ashton Gate. Now we have to show that same endeavour away from home.

'That's the challenge I've given the players. We have to go down to Portsmouth on Saturday and remember the people that are depending on us. We must not let people down.'
