After getting the team to gel and avoid relegation into league one, Derek McInnes wants his side to go to Burnley and finish the season with a bit of style.
City may be safe, but that`s no excuse to let standards slip according to the boss, he will be demanding the best out of his lads and hopes to go into closed season feeling confident for next term.
'Professional pride means this is a game we want to win,' McInnes told the Bristol Evening Post: 'Obviously things are more relaxed this week and it could have been a lot more stressful. But we still want to finish the season on a high and we will make sure we prepare properly.
'I'm a believer that the last game stays with you over the summer and we will do our best to win this game and keep our unbeaten run going.
'It is not a must-win game, but it is one we would like to win.
'We want to finish the season off in a wee bit of style if we can and make the fans happy going into the summer.'
And fans had better be prepared for changes at Ashton Gate, because McInnes will be looking to develop his side.
Twelve players come to the end of their current deals in the summer and it seems certain that some will be leaving.
McInnes added: 'We will be dealing with it over the next few days and everyone will know where they stand by the start of next week.
'Things have become a bit clearer now we know which division we will be in next season.
'I think it is important to try and get a lot of the work done as early as possible'
