Maynard and West Ham In The Premier League

The Championship said goodbye to West Ham at Wembley yesterday after they beat Blackpool 2-1 in the Championship play-off final.

It was 500,000 buy Ricardo Vaz Te who grabbed the winning goal for Sam Allardyce`s men just three minutes from the end of a scrappy game.

This means that ex-City striker Nicky Maynard, who was an unused sub at Wembley, will be plying his trade in the Premier League next season after taking the gamble in the summer and joining the Hammers.
