Robins To Take On Bournemouth

Bristol City will travel down to the south coast in August to play Bournemouth in a pre-season friendly.

The sides will meet on 11th August at Dean Court.

Derek McInnes told the Bristol Evening Post: 'We were looking for a challenging game and we'll certainly get that at Bournemouth. It's a good fixture to have and there are worse places to be on a Saturday than down on the south coast in Bournemouth.

'They will provide tough opposition and that's what we will need at that stage of pre-season, just ahead of the League Cup game and then the first league fixture. By that stage we'll be moulding the team ready for the big kick-off.'
