Jody Morris Arrives At City On One Year Deal.

Bristol City have confirmed that they have completed the signing of one time Chelsea star Jody Morris.

The 33 year old has signed a one year deal with the club and the midfielder has worked under current boss Derek McInnes before when he was the manager of St Johnstone where City have just picked the player up from.

Morris has been north of the border with St Johnstone for the last four and a half years and McInnes is delighted to have acquired his services, as is Morris himself.

'I'm over the moon to have agreed this deal. After four-and-a-half years working with the gaffer at St Johnstone, I jumped at this chance,' he told City's official website.

'It's the right switch for my career, as well as an opportunity to bring the family back down south.'

Bit old but should be a good signing for the short term, I welcome the move.

Too old I feel, should be building with younger players in my opinion.
